Hi, Gary - Happy Thanksgiving!
Thought I'd drop you a note before we go to our son's house for Thanksgiving. I'm happy to hear from you.
I have Jacob's death article which was in the 26 Aug 1980 issue of the Enquirer and News of Albion, Michigan. Unfortunately it only mentions his two daughters, Jacqueline Maag, who was a professor of music at Albion College in Albion, (with whom Jacob was living when he died), and Regina James who lived in Dallas, Texas. There was no mention of Jacob's parents or siblings.
If you'd care to send me your email address to
omahabob@cox.net, I'd be happy to share with you what I have on Jacob. I'm a bit curious about your Conrad Sr. I did a quick check on ancestry.com and found him in the 1880 Census living in Provo, Utah, age 24, his wife Annie, 25, son Conrad, 2 and daughter Mary Ann, 1. But somewhere else I saw that Conrad Sr.'s father was William, not Jacob.
Anyway, let's visit more about this. Thanks again for your message.
