Hello again,
I was able to get a copy of the Lyver tree from that woman in B.C. Wow, we are all related!!!!!!!!!! Almost every person that someone on this message board is wondering about is part of my family!!!!!!I am unable to print the tree though. I will give you some information now. Everyone goes back to Edward Lyver b. oct. 1784, his wife Elizabeth Driscal. He was one of three brothers that came from England and settled in Conception Bay, (a 20 minute boat ride to Fortune Harbor). His gravestone has the name Liver on it! This was visited by K(the woman from B.C.) in 1995. So that's the beginning. I have most of the rest of the information. Edward and Elizabeth had 5 children; 1.James b1826 in Carbonear, NFLD,spouse Alice Hamilton, they had 7 sons and 2 daughters. For Kelly: James and Alice's had a son named Lawrence, he married Ellen Hayes, they had 5 sons and 3 daughters, one of those sons was James Cyril Lyver. James Cyril Lyver b.feb 6, 1896 spouse Sarah Gillespie. They had 5 sons and one daughter. James Cyril had another wife Helen Noonan, they had Jim and Peter whom I believe one of them is your father Kelly! Hello cousin!!!!! My family line comes from another son of Edward and Elizabeth Driscal--John b1825, spouse Elizabeth Hamilton, they had 6 sons and 5 daughters. One of their sons was Edward, spouse Margaret Wiseman. They had 3 sons and 3 daughters. One of those sons was my grandfather Francis William bMay 2, 1898. Francis married Mary Murphy, they had 3 sons and one daughter, one of those sons, the youngest is my father William Edward b. 1934. His spouse (my mother) Joan MacCarthy had 3 daughters and 2 sons. I'm the oldest.
Now for Carol Ann's request: There are many, many Elizabeth's and I can't find Michael Mahoney yet but I only spent 2 hours taking down information so hang in there. I'm sure we are related. Do you have any more info on Elizabeth? I will spend more time on this over the next few days. Any other questions just ask I'll try to answer.
