I am a great granddaughter of Dorothy Freda Hewitt (so my great, great grandfather was Ebenezer Hewitt).
I have just recently started searching for my family information & can share with you the information that I have of the Hewitt family (once they came to Canada).
Ebenezer had a homestead in Saskatchewan, but at this point all that I have is a land location.
Ebenezer had at least one son: Cecil Norman Hewitt who died in WWI & is buried in France... and at least one daughter (my great grandmother Dorothy Freda Hewitt).
Dorothy married Russ F. Kratky (both of them are buried in the cemetery in Minburn, Alberta), I actually knew my great grandma, we called her "Grandma Mac" & she lived into her 90's; one of their son's was my grandfather Orval Norman Kratky (deceased); my father is Stanley Norman Kratky (still living) & my name is Kim Faye Clark (Kratky).
I am very excited about finding out anything that I can about the family in England... funny, it was my mom's birthday last week and my dad mentioned the Bull's Head pub in England.
Please contact me, as I'd love to learn more & if you'd be willing to share your pictures I'd be forever grateful.
Kim Clark
