I received some really bad news last week. My grandfather, Joseph M. Lyter of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, is not doing well at all. He is 88 yrs of age, and he was just released from the hospital. But prior to his being released, the doctors discovered a mass on his liver. But we will never know whether the mass is malignant or not, because he is just too weak to have any tests done on his body. Although, we do know one thing, if the mass is malignant, he will only have month to live. On the other hand, if it isn't malignant, he will have six months to live. I went to see him last week for posibly the very last time. He looked so weak, and frail, and I just felt so bad for him. But whenever his time comes, he will be my final surviving grandparent, he will also be the oldest.
