Hi Candy. I know your post is three years old, so you may already know this.
My g-g-g-g grandfather was Samuel Axom Lynn. I have his father's name as James Lynd, and his mother's first name, being Martha. The only other information I have is that James Lynd died in 1824.
I have five children for James and Martha.
Samuel Axom Lynn; b. 1774 in Pennsylvania; d. Feb. 18, 1856 in Louisville, Kentucky (married Margaret Warnick, Dec 16, 1800 in Huntington County, PA)
Alexander Lynn/or Lynd (married Roseanna/or Isabella Warnick, May 24, 1798 in Huntington County, PA)
James Lynn/or Lynd; d. 1833 (married Sarah Galloway)
Margaret Lynn/or Lynd (married FNU McCrary)
and Sarah Lynn/or Lynd; d. 1831 (no marriage record that I know of)
That is all the information that I have on James and Martha.

My g-g-g grandfather was William C. Lynn, brother to your Samuel G. Lynn. I have Samuel G. Lynn listed as having two wives. The first one being a lady named Mary Marts/ or Martles. I have a second marriage listed, but I had no name of that wife. This must be Jane Doak?
