Hello Fellow Lyerly Posters.

Help!

I have a George W. LYERLY,b.@1869 in ,probably Illinois. He married Mary A. Skinner, Sept.13,1891 in Washington County, Ill.
They had at least one daughter, Elvia May LYERLY, B. Feb.6,1895 in Union, Illinois.
Elvia May married Richard "Dick" SLACK,b Jan.19,1893 in Union,Ill.
They had two daughters:
Norma Dixie SLACK,b.Mar.22,1911 in Jonesboro, Unoin, Ill. and;
Gladys SLACK, b.Jun.28,1912 in Jonesboro, Union, Ill.
Dick and Elvia divorced in 1916 and she died 2 years later.
The family story goes that the Lyerly family raised Norma Dixie and Gladys SLACK as LYERLY's, possibly moving them to another part of the state (Chicago?).

Does anyone have information about either or both of these two persons? Dixie and Gladys, that is.

Thanks sooooooo much in advance,

Carl

P.s. It was a doctor LYERLY who delivered Dixie and Gladys in Jonesboro, Ill.
