My great grandmother was Ada violet Lye, Clara and Fredericks sister. She divorced my great grandfather and moved to Canada with her two daughters Olive and Gwen, leaving behind my grandfather with his father. Olive became a famous "American" artist doing beautiful, artistic lapidary work. Her surname is colhour and is easy to find on the net. I would really love any information you have on the Lyes. My father remembers some cousins but does not know when or why the famuly or part of the family came to NZ. I have traced Robert Lye back to the Turnbridge Wells but not any other details.
