"John Lybook...born in Giles County, Virginia in October 1798...his parents [not named] moved to Preble County, Ohio..." John moved to the area now known as Cass County, Michigan in "December 1823." (p 299)

"Henley C. Lybrook...born in Giles County, Virginia, November 20th, 1802...came to [now Cass County] Michigan in 1830..."

Source: Rogers, Howard S., "History of Cass County," From 1825 to 1875, W. H. Mansfield, Vigilant Book and Job Print, Cassopolis, Michigan. 1875. 299-302 and 331-332.

Note: I do not own this book, but borrowed it from a friend. There is additional information concerning both of these men. Anyone researching might be interested in the substance of the book. It is very informative about the area, development and some of the citizens thereof.
