Just found your posting today. I am a descendant of the Luce family of New York; several family members moved to Michigan and at least two lived in Lenawee County. Cornelius Luce was my 7th great-grandfather. He married twice. His first wife was Olive Foster, and they had six children: Vinal, born 1782; Betsey (my 6th great), born 1785; Jane, born 1788; Sophie, born 1789; William Foster, born 1794; and John Manley, born 1796. He married (2) Sophia Smead, and they had eight children: William Pitt, born 1797; Laura, born 1800; Cora E., born 1803; Julia E., born 1804; Eliza A., born 1806; Cornelius FitzEdward, born 1808; Henry Talmadge, born 1811; and Alonzo D., born 1812. Cornelius FitzEdward lived in Lenawee County Michigan but died in Jackson County; his brother Henry also lived in Lenawee County and died in Tecumsah, Lenawee County, in 1887. I have much more information if this is the family you are looking for.
