Minnie Lozaw in NJ?

Classification: Query
Surnames: Lozaw
My grandmother was Minnie Lozaw (1873-1948) and even though she was born in Moosic PA (near Wilkes Barre in Luzerne County) I have strong suspicion that her family had moved there from New Jersey. My reason for suspecting that is because, buried in the same plot as she is, I found one Suldon Lozau (likely misspelled by the engraver). He has a military headstone ( and no dates of either birth or death whatsoever) that says he was a member of the 30th NJ Infantry and I found him in Civil Wars records that way. My reasoning is that, had he been a PA boy, he wouldn't have had to go to NJ to enlist-there were plenty of PA units he could have joined.

At ancestry.com, the censuses for the years I'd want to search to find Minnie as a child are not indexed and NJ is a large state. If I am REALLY lucky, you may have run across some trace of Minnie in your research.
