Mrs. Georgina Lozada, 43, a resident of Lowell for more than six years, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital as a result of injuries received in a fire at her home.
Born Sept. 28, 1941 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of Benedita (Torres) Dominguez and the late Perfecto Dominguez, and was educated in that area.
She lived on Pleasant Street and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Mrs. Lozada was employed as a stitcher with the Shield Co. She is survived by her husband Juan L. Perez; two daughters, Mrs. Ana L. Lozada and Mrs Carmen M. Lozada, both of lowell; a son Juan A. Lozada, three grandchildren; her mother Benedita Torres Dominguez of Lowell; five sisters, Jacinta Dominguez of New Bedford, Lydia Dominguez, Enestina Dominguez and Ana Dominguez in Puerto Rico; seven brothers, Jose Torres, Miguel Dominguez, Clotilde Dominguez, all of New Bedford, Amando Dominguez, Efrain Dominguez, Manuel Dominguez, and Domingo Dominguez, all of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
