Holmes County Advertiser: John Lowe, of Hartford, Ala. was killed outright, and Co. C.C. Sellers, local attorney, and Dink Ezell, local farmer, were seriously injured in an automobile smash-up which occured on the Old Spanish Trail, just inside the eastern limits of the city last Thursday night at 7:00 o'clock.
