Miche(a)l Lowber born in Amsterdam 1674?

Hi.
My name is Frans Nieuwenhuis from the Netherlands, married to Beth from the USA (PA).
Living currently in the Netherlands.
One of her direct ancestors is Pieter Loper, father of Michael Lowber (baptized in NY 1677, on the same day as Pieter and Geertruij Nieulant/Newland/Nieuwlandt).

This seems to be a re-baptism.
In the amsterdam archive in the netherlands we found the following.

-------
kind Michel (kind = child)
vader Pieter Lober (vader= father)
moeder Geertruij Neviant (moeder = mother)
doop 30 oktober 1674 (doop = baptism)
religie Hervormd, Nieuwe kerk, Amsterdam
bron 44 p.416
This info is from the Stadsarchief (City Archive) Amsterdam

Another document with the birth of a daughter Magriet (Margaret?) shows father as Pieter Loober, mother Geertruijt Nieu****dt -remark i have the original scan of the baptism book and Geertruij's name is very difficult to read.
--------
Since we have here to much coincidences, considering the names and so, this could be the document about the birth/baptism of Michael Lowber (most times dated in 1677)
About the surname see just some info found on the web:

Mr. John Curtis & Mr. John Betts Justices of the Peace for ye same, did on
ye seaventeenth and Eighteenth day of August 1693 meet at the house of Mr.
John Curtis and then and there publickly asses & rate the several persons
here under mentioned the vallue of their estates as for follow

****
ffor Muder kill Hundred

John Howells estate.............100
William Lawrence &
Michell Walton................60
Thomas Bedwell..................100
Henry Bedwell...................100
Daniell Ruttey..................200
Peter Loober....................100 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< (our Peter Loper/Looper/Lober/Loper?)
Robert Hudson...................250
Owen Garvey.....................100
Thomas Ronse....................250
Richard Buzbey..................100
Thomas Heather..................100
Robert Edmonds..................150
Stephen Simons..................100
Peter Groenendick...............300
Thomas Skidmore junr............100
John Townsend...................100
William Darvall.................300
John Barnes.....................200
William Rodney..................150
John Robinson...................150
******

Well we continue a bit our research on Beths ancestors in Holland, maybe we find more.

She was the daughter of Matthew Lowber (1710-1772) and his second wife Hannah Manlove Robinson. They were in Kent County, DE

Could be related to your Miriam some how!
