Louise, the Nash girls were the daughters of Ryland Hervey Nash and Peachie Cox who were married in Pickens Co. Al.
They also had a brother Newton Nash.
Their mother Peachie Cox Nash died about 1843 in Biloxi, Ms.
Their father remarried in Green Co. Al to a Widow with one son. Then he and his wife had a son together.Ryland H. Nash was a Sea Captain and reportedly sailed around the horn to Ca.where her built a Hotel and later died.Sonoma, Ca.
Peachie Cox was the daughter of Robert Plummer Cox and Margaret Basquett/Basket.
Robert Plummer Cox was the son of Allen Cox,Sr who died in Newberry Co. SC before 1800. Robert P., James and Daniel
Cox were some of the first settlers in Pickens Co. Al. Daniel
Cox is my ancestor.
Without checking my records, think Ryland H. was the son of Abner Nash who died and left a will in Monroe or Lowndes Co. Ms.
I have a copy of the Abner Nash Bible Records.
Samuel Love and Margarett Nash were married 21 Aug, 1851, but I don't know where.
Margaret I/J E. Nash born 9 April 1834- died 1905 (I don't know where. I have the 1880 census for this family.
David's wife was Anatasia "Ann"Udoxy Nash born about 1829
I have the 1880 census for them in Attala Co. Ms
Emma Nash was living with her Aunt Elizabeth Cox Dotson,
wife of Elisha Walpole Dotson in 1850 Noxubee Co. Ms census. I believe Emma married in Noxubee Co.She was age
14 in the census. I do not have her on the 1880 Census. Have not been able to find her.Do you know where she is living and the names of her children
I hope this helps to fill in the voids.I have much more info to share.
