Been a long time but maybe you still check this board.

You may want to try finding a Louch line, or their descendants, in California, specifically in the Fresno area.
One of the sons of Charles Alexander Louch and Alice Snow emigrated there.
He was Clarence William Louch, born S Cleveden Somerset England in 1897, and he passed through Ellis Island 6th March of 1914 - unlucky choices of boats this family made - he was on the Lusitania. I believe originally his parents were on the Titanic making a trip to visit his father's brother out West somewhere. Anyway in 1916 he married a Frances Gould in Lewiston Montana. In 1817 he received draft papers in Fresno CA and in 1942 received draft papers in Sonora, Tuolumne CA. He died in Fresno in 1948.
At the 1930 census in Fresno they had 3 children, Alice I c1918, Gertrude E c1921 and Alfred R c1927.

You can find the relevant docs for this info on the familysearch.org.

After a quick swing through some ancestry records it would look like Alfred R Louch moved to Los Angeles where he married, probably Brenda Schweig. I'm guessing that Frank A Louch is probably their son.

Interesting. I always wondered where the Louch line in LA came from.
Unfortunately I'm actually tracking the Louch line from Petersfield UK that ended up in Ontario Canada and later in MI.
