Seeking additional information for LOPATA and SERYLA ancestry from villages of Niedzica, Nizne Lapsze, Spisska Stara Ves and Spisz County (in general). Villages were once in Slovakia, but returned to Poland in early 1900's. Searching LOPATA, SERYLA, SWIENTY and variants. Jana Lopata (1815-1893?) m. Anna Swiety (1840 -?): Had two known children: Michael (1860 -1904) m. Zofia Seryla ((1862-1941)- direct line- they had Their children: Michal, John, Sophia, Katarzyna, Woceich, Mary, Anna, Rozalia. second son: Vojtech Lopata (1855-?) m. Ann Lukas(1859-?)in 1865. Several of Michal's children emigrated to Pittsburgh via NJ 1905-1910 possibly thru the help of Uncle Martin Seryla of Mountesville NJ. Woceich, Anna and Rozalia remained in Niedzica. Family branches traced with good detail and present contacts in "old country". Care to share LOPATA, SERYLA, VODZAK, FRANKCOVIC, SWIETY surname info and/or village info on : FRYDMAN, NIEDZICA, KACWIN, NIZNE LAPSZE? Thanks. Karen
