Harrison Swancey Long, son of John Read Long, was
my GGG-Grandfather. I have his school primer, almost 200 years old. The math problems are in British money. He is buried in Pontotoc County, MS by his Church, New Hope Baptist Church. He apparently came when the great migration of whites to the lands the Indians gave up in the early 1800's. He is buried by his wife and some kids. One of his sons was killed in the civil war. One of his sons, my GG grandfather, Flavous Josephus Long, is also buried in Pontotoc, but in the Long cemetery on Pontotoc County also I have visited there also.
