John LONG b. abt 1758, and died May 3, 1819 in Rowan Co. NC. Wife was Mary _____ b. abt. 1759 and died 6 Oct. 1820.

They are buried in Crystal Springs Cemetery aka Long's Cemetery or McPherson Cemetery. Lived near China Grove in Rowan County not far from Cabarrus County line.

Listed known children as Mary, Roseanna, David, Martha, Margaret, Esther, Joseph, Henry, John born on January 1, 1784, d. November 1, 1854, Rachel, and James.

The Hadleys were married into the Lakey family and the Lakey was related to the Dobbins. Anna Lakey married Hiram Long. These Quaker Longs are probably part of Tobias Long family, and some went to Greene County, IN.)
