Hi, I'm looking for information about John and Lydia Long, my 4th great-grandparents. They had at least two daughters, Mary Ann Long and Bessy Long. Mary Ann and Bessy were orphans at Rathdown Workhouse. Travelled to Australia in 1849 to work as servants. I assume John and Lydia died in the famine. Mary Ann was born about 1831 in Wicklow and Bessy was born about 1835. Mary Ann went on to marry Martin O'Donnell (my 3rd great grandparents) and she died in Goulburn, Australia in 1913.
