Josiah, Poulson & Sidney Long - DE & PA

Hope someone can help me with my "brick wall". I found me 2nd great grandfather Josiah Long b. about 1840 Delaware in the 1850 census in New Garden, Chester County, PA. He was listed age 11 along with Poulson Long 28 yo male, Sidney Long 37 yo female, and Long children, Sarah 17 yo female, Ellen 12 yo female, Rebecca 7 yo female. At first glance it looks like whole family but ages don't make sense. I didn't see husband or wife designation and female adult is 9 years older than male and he is too young to be father to some of the children. I think I found this family in 1840 in New Castle County DE. Male listed as "Pausson" Long b. 1822 DE along with female Sidney Long b. 1813. Is Poulson the father of Josiah and therefore 3rd great grandfather? Can someone help me figure this out? There are a lot of Longs in Delaware. Just need to find a connection.
