Thanks for the date info. He was a lot younger than I thought. He is in the range of my father, I was looking one generation back to far. But still I have no Herman in my name list. My Grandfather Grandmother (Lones) came from Tennessee, moved to Washington State. So we are fairly new to the west. I have traced, with the help of these Ancestry.com FamilyHistory.com websites, my Lones/Lonas/Lohnes back to the mid 1500's.
