I agree with you and see the same thing all the time. People just copy others without questioning. I also have been trying to find who this Patience Logsdon is. The daughter of Elisha Logsdon, Sr married Blind John J. Durbin. Her mother was not Susanna Lackey but was by Elisha's first wife who many say was Rebecca Howard but no record has been found of Elisha's first wife's name.
