Does anyone know anything about William Lobb and Elizabeth Lewis, m. Lincoln Co. KY in 1808?
William Lobb was an appraiser to the will of my 3rd gr-grandfather, George White. George d. Casey Co. KY on 17 Feb 1824 (will probated in Mercer Co. KY, March Court).
George's widow at the time of his death was Jane. I am thinking Jane to be a sister of Elizabeth Lewis. Jacqueline Ambler Lewis (Casey Co. KY censuses) was a witness to the will. His wife was Eliza/Elizabeth Hutchings/Hutchinson. Her father, Thomas, was an Executor to the will of George White---with William Minor. LDS has a William Miner m. to a Mrs. Margaret Lewis. This could be William Minor, who also m. Polly Rains. Lewis seems to be the connecting name. I am also having to deal with two different spelling of surnames in same documents, i.e., Hutchings/Hutchinson and Johnson/Johnston.

I found a DNA project for Jacqueline Ambler Lewis. I am not sure how accurate these are. Jacqueline shows as the s/o John Francis Penny Lewis and Nancy Davis. John was b. in ENG abt. 1752. He m. Nancy Davis in Amherst Co. VA.
This DNA project shows Jane E. Lewis as a daughter---and Jacqueline Ambler Lewis as son. It also shows Robert T. Lewis as a son---and he was living very close to George White in early Casey Co. KY census.

I also found a Wm. Lobb b. in Clark Co. IN in 1842 to Jacqueline AMBER Lobb and Mary Ellen Yeager. William m. Lizzie Crump in 1867, Jackson Co. IN.

Note: Assumption, the name of Ambler and Jacqueline comes from Richard Ambler and Elizabeth Jacquelin of Amherst Co. VA

I am trying to find out who Widow Jane White was and other names of those mentioned in the will of George White. I am hoping this leads me to prove his parentage. George had 15 children, some of them possibly taking names of others or step-children---or "assumed" as children of Head of House in another White household. His children were named as MY 8 children to get 1/4 of estate as Andrew, Nathan, George Washington, William, Patsey, John, Ely, and Eson. George then names to get $1.00 each to my children as James, Nancy, Sally, Polly, Isabel, Ester/Esther, Catherine. Eson can be found throughout Casey Co. Ky censuses as Esam and Eason. His wife was Cyrena Coulter. My 2nd great grandfather (George Washington White) and Eson White are the only children I have been able to find.

Thanks for any info. Other names mentioned in will of George White were Leonard Taylor (m Sarah Blagrove/Blagrave), Henry Harper, Jacob Johnston/Johnson,
Blagrave/Blagrove line was m. into Hutchinson/Hutchings line (and Parks/Stokes lines), and Thomas Thoman. The "n" on the end of Thoman appears as the same as "n" on end of Johnston/Johnson. I am sure it is not an "s".
Thanks for any info.
