Starting a tree

So after much wrangling - I've finally started my tree and I'm stuck on my paternal side. After a search on the US Gen Web archives I was able to find my grandfather and great grandparents but now we have to delve further back!

Grandparents are Vicente M. Llanes and Guadalupe Flores (I've heard stories she was polish on her mother's side?). My grandfather Nicolas F. Llanes was born in Webb County (1928).

Any connections out there?

Thanks!

Hello! (reposting again)

I was able to find one more generation on my father's side of the family:

Lino Vicente Llanes and Delfina had a son Vicente Llanes in 1891. I'm looking for info on Lino and Delfina's respective parents. I tried the US Gen site but it only goes back to 1928.

If this links to your family tree - drop me a message.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Delfina (Mar 1862-14 Jun 1942) was the daughter of Mathias Madla(1813) & Constantina Kral (1825). The came over from Centawa, Opolskie, Poland on a ship named Hamburg (Liverpool, New York, Texas). The records are in Pana Maria Texas.

You can find them in the 1880 census in Bexar County, Texas.

Best of luck. Contact me for more information. Hope this helps.
