Classification: Query
Surnames: Ljungstrom, Youngstrom, Young
My great grandfather was Frank Gustav Young. His last name was originally Youngstrom, but it was probably Ljungstrom. All I know is that he was born in Sweden supposedly on Feb 29, 1860; emigrated supposedly to the US in 1883; and was in Kalama Washington by 1886, when he married Laura (Olava) Anderson and applied for citizenship. Their children were named Frank Andrew, Herbert, Philip, Lawrence, Martin, Carl, Laura, and Francis. His death certificate says father's name was Gustave Youngstrom and mother's name was Mathilda Andersen.
I have no idea where in Sweden he was from; or where he was from 1883 to 1886; or if he had other family here. Counldn't find him on passenger records. I'm not even sure that the information reported on his death certificate was correct.
Does this ring a bell or fit in with anyone else's Ljungstroms?
Thank you,
Randi Petrone
