Classification: Query
Surnames: LiVecchi, LoPresti, Stramaglia, Cotrone, Davida
Two of us with Livecchi family ancestry are attempting to verify our connection and hoping to make others.

We are hopeful that we can confirm that Rosario and Rosolino Livecchi is the same person, and, therefore, our common ancestor. Here is what we speculate:

Rosario (or Rosolino) would have been b. ~1845 in Sicily - Caltanisetta or Valledomo. He married, first, Loretta LoPresti. They would have been the parents of Antonio and Calogero Livecchi.

Antonio lived in the Rochester, New York area, and was the father of Jennie b. ~1909.

Calogero m. Annina Stramaglia from Modugno/Bari. Calogero and Annina came to America about 1905 and were the parents of Loretta Livecchi, who became Loretta Nanna and then Loretta Cotrone. Loretta was born in Cincinnati, lived for a while in Buffalo, New York and finally settled in Chicago before raising her own family in Wisconsin.

Rosario's second wife, then, would have been Calogera Leona. With Calogera, Rosario was the father of Sarah, Philomenia, Maria b. ~1882 and Cosimina b~1896. Cosimina became Cosimina Davida.

Connections sought.
