In 1860, Odeil deBritton (b. abt. 1830) and Alice Livaudais (b. abt. 1847) were living in Baton Rouge, LA. In 1870 George DeBretton was overseer for the farm of Madame Livaudais in New Orleans. His wife is named Odele. He died July 1870. When Odele died April 19, 1873, the obit was in the French edition of the New Orleans Bee. Friends and family of the deBretton and Livaudais family were invited to the funeral. Is Odele a member of the Livaudais family? Who is Alice?
