AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Frank W. Litch Jr., 62, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

He was born on July 25, 1951, to the late Frank Sr. and Sue (Jurenko) Litch.

Frank graduated from North High School in 1969 and continued his education at Youngstown State University.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Comprehensive Social Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

While at Y.S.U., Frank was the president and one of the founding fathers of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity Chapter.

On April 23, 1977, Frank married the love of his live, Donna Marie (Jakobowski) Litch, and they spent the next 36 years together side by side.

Frank was employed by WRTA as a Bus Operator.

He was also a teacher at South High School, Woodrow Wilson High School, and J.F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland, before finally retiring as a social studies teacher in January of 2006. While working at Wilson H.S. Frank coached softball and lead the girls softball team to their first ever City Series Title, and then did it again for a second time.
Frank was a lifetime member of Lodge 66 Croation Home.
He enjoyed all sports, and was an avid fan of both the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. Frank also enjoyed going to the beach every summer with his family, wing day at The Manor with his best buddies, and family lamb roasts.

Left to continue Frank’s memory is his wife, Donna Marie Litch; his only daughter that he spoiled since birth, Tricia (Brent) Duty.
He also is survived by his sister, Kathleen Rotunno; his nephews, Brian (Shellyn) Rotunno and children, and Daniel (Aleece) Rotunno; his in-laws, Bernard and Helen Jakobowski; sisters-in-law, Denise (Phillip) Cook and Diane (Mike) Mavracick and family; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown, Ohio Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. Family and friends may visit www.lanefuneralhomes.com to send condolences. -
