That would be wonderful. I know we have to relate in with him somehow.. but I've decided my Thomas is not Coleman's son. Here's what I know...
Thomas Easton Lipscomb was born in 1845 in Gibson (or possibly Henderson) county. His parents were Henry C. Lipscomb and Serena West. They live in Gibson, TN until Thomas joins the Civil War. When he gets out he marries Martha Sloan. THey settle in Crockett Co TN, with 7 children. Mary Ann, Frclia F (sp??), G R, Albert S, Martha Donie, Minnie Pearl, and Lavenia.
By 1910 Martha has died and Thomas and his family are in Pemiscot MO. Right next door to them is a Henry C Lipscomb, son of Coleman Lipscomb I believe. There's no doubt in my mind that Henry and Thomas are related. It just can't be coincidence that they end up next door neighbors.
Thomas remarries in 1910 and moves back to Crockett, TN. Some of his children remained in Pemiscot, however. He died in 1920, and listed as his father... Cola Lipscomb. I don't know if Cola may have been Henry C. Lipscomb's middle name... or what. But I know that Henry and Sarena were Thomas' parents (He's listed as Eastin in the 1850 census and Thomas in the 1860)
I've looked at your tree and not found the connection yet, but I'm going to keep looking. :)
