Hello:
I am trying to find out if Thomas and Eleanor Lippencut (Lippincott) are related to Eleanor, Thomas, William H, and Peter Mesler who were living with the family according to the US Census for Darke County Ohio 1850. Their mother Mary A Mesler widow of Aukey Mesler is nowhere to be found. She claims her son Peter's soldiers pension when he dies of dysentery during the war but other than that we have no information on either Aukey, Mary, or any concrete explanation as to why the children are living with the Lippencut/ cott family. We surmise they are family in some way but we have no idea. If anyone can help solv this conundrum it would be fantastic.
