She was from Mississippi? She died sometime after 1908. She is buried, with just a gravestone, in Blackjack Cemetary, next to Hopewell Methodist Church, Allen Parish, Louisiana. My grandfather, John James Pickering, born 1894, raised his younger siblings. A 1920 census has him living with his Aunt? Mary Townsel/Townsend. Zack Townsel is her husband.
