My Lindau family comes from a Swedish family who immigrated from Sweden before the turn of the last century and lived mostly in the Duluth area. It was an extended family. My 2nd GGF Korporalen Johan Peter Anderson Lindau had 6 sons. Two came to America the remainder stayed in Sweden. This is based on information from a Swedish relative still there. Carl August (1874-1947) was the oldest and he had 9 children. His wife, Emily (1875-1977) lived to be 102 years old. It couldn't have been from his line because I know all them. It's my own line. His brother Bror Wilhelm Knut Lindau (1882-1971) had at least two sons. I have no descendancy for them: Paul William Lindau (1909-1972) and Henry (unknown).
