I am also in Australia and I have been following this thread with interest and wonder if you have further information concerning Lillycrap/Duck connection in Bridgewater, Somerset. I have Emma Duck dau of James Samuel Duck 1807-1873(known as Samuel Duck until later in life, elder son of James & Mary, nee Barsby) He was an Assistant Minister then Minister of Mariners Mission Bridgewater, Somerset, from c.1840 till his death in 1873, and his wife Lucy Frances, nee Cooke. I have only located one record of Emma's husband which notes him as Jas (presumably James) with a child Kimberley Lillycrap. Emma was born in Radford Notts, as were her parents James Samuel & Lucy before going to Bridgewater. Any information that you may have on this family and history would be appreciated as there is a lot of confusion surrounding the history of this couple and of Kimberley. Jas seems to vanish and Emma appears to have later married William Seaby Welsh.
