"24 Apr 1826. Malacai Lile made application for administration on the estate of Charles Lile deceased. Said Malaca Lile giving bond w/ John Thornton & William S. Miller his securities. Full power of attorney granted on the estate of Charles Lile deceased to Malacai Lile his father. (pg 43) Bluffton, Feb 1828. Malacai Lile administrator of the estate of Charles P. Lile comes forward to make first annual settlement. Sales list of 24 May 1826. Entire estate $244.21. To widow Pernicia Lilie receipt $91.50. From Pernicia Liles for corn, bacon and fodder $18.37. (pg 51) Aug 1829. Malacai Lile Admin of Charles Lile dec'd - he being heir-at-law is discharged from further settlements."
