I too am looking for a Liberto from Sicily, but from Caccamo,or at least that is where he was born My gretgrandmother's sister Giorgia Sineni married Salvatore Liberto in 1889 in N.Y. They were born in caccamo as far as we know. They had at least two children[ Dominica and Giacomo] and eventually returned to Sicily and Giacomo came back to America later but I think the rest of them stayed in Sicily. I plan to visit sicily next year and want to see if any relatives are still there. As forCannizzaro- Giovanna Barbaccia Married Leonardo Cannizzaro but I can't find them either.They are from My greatgrandfather's side.
