BOARDMAN - Prayers will be at 9:15 a.m., Monday, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burialat 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church in Poland, Ohio for Mary “Mae” F. O’Hare, 90, who passed away Thursday morning, May 7, 2015 with her family by her side.
Mary was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a daughter of Leon and Frances Oberman Liana.
She was the office manager for Dr. Andrew Detesco for many years.
Mary loved gardening and decorating, and her greatest passion was bowling. She was inducted into both the Bowling and Curbstone Coaches Halls of Fame.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George O’Hare, whom she married June 7, 1947, in Youngstown, OH; two sons, Brian (Cookie) O’Hare and Dennis (Denise) O’Hare; a grandson, Kevin O’Hare; and three sisters, Helen Liana, Stella Zebrasky and Jennie Nethers.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, John Liana; and a sister, Anna Liana.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, OH.
