I appreciate the sources you have included. Mary Ann Vejlupek McCleery died yesterday, April 19, 2012. Howard Dean McCleery is still living.

I am a descendant of Harry McCleery's sister Fannie and have her daily diaries. Ethel and Wallace were brought up by their grandfather Amos Graham and his third wife Orrilla V. Jameson. Orrilla had previously been married to Renwick Duguid who had died in 1873. She was living in Freemont Indiana, where she died in 1920, as were her two sons Garner Duguid and Elton Clare Duguid. I know that Harry went to Freemont to work in the store that Garner had there. Harry's brother Arch and his wife Alice Ashenhurst were there as well in the 1915 - 1920 era. On the 1920 census Wallace Graham/L'Hommedieu, Harry McCleery and Arch McCleery are all listed as "Salesman" "Dry Goods" so are all presumably in the employ of Garner Duguid.

Fannie visited several times particularly when there were early infant deaths. They all went often to the cottage the family had at a nearby lake and Fannie enjoyed the company of Garner's daughter Gladys as well as that of her sisters-in-law.
