This is not my family. However, I have been involved in family history for over 40 years and am also an avid estate sale junky. I have just returned from an estate sale where I purchased this Family Bible for $35. I would like to get it into the hands of a descendant. All I am asking is to be reimbursed for my costs plus $10 for postage.

The bible gives births, marriages and deaths of Hiram & Statirah Lewis, their children and at least some of their grandchildren. Hiram was born 10 March 1812, Statirah was born 10 April 1817. Their children that are listed are: Jane born 28 February 1839, Sarah born 5 October 1840, Marietta born 9 July 1842 and Nathan born 30 August 1844. Other surnames mentioned are Parkinson, Pratt, Burgess, Groesbeck, and Wheeler.
