Rita M. (Levesque) Noel, 88, of Nashua passed away on Thursday December 24, 2009 at the Ridgewood Nursing Home in Bedford.

Rita was born in Nashua on February 11, 1921, a daughter of the late George & Marie (St. Laurent) Levesque. She was the widow of Edward Noel who died March 13, 1994. Rita was a lifelong resident of Nashua and she was educated in Nashua schools. Earlier in her life, Rita ran a daycare out of her home for many years. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She was a kind and thoughtful person who touched the lives of many people. Rita was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church. She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Levesque.

Rita is survived by two daughters, Linda Hill and her husband, Ernest of Indian Trail, NC and Susan Bailey and her husband, David of Bedford; one son, Stephen Noel and his wife, Susan of Litchfield; four grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Zach and Hannah; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 28, 2009 from 4 to 7 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 29, 2009 in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Rita’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301-5004.
