Hi Scott, I am Missy lever. My Dad is Austin Lester Lever and his Dad was Mack Austin Lever. I have always been told that the "Lever" name was changed from Leber to Lever when they came to S. Carolina from Germany. George Lever who passed away many years ago told us that if we ever saw a person with the last name "lever" that we were related since that was the name that the three brothers that came here from Germany took.
