Looking for Mississippi/Alabama LEVER

Surnames: Adams, Leaver, Lever
Hi, y'all. My great-great-great-grandparents, Asa & Elizabeth Jane Adams lived in Pickensville, AL, from the 1830s until their deaths in 1863 and 1870. Their youngest daughter, Harriet Adams, married a LEVER boy sometime between 1846 and 1850, and moved to Choctaw County, MS.

In the 1850 census of Choctaw County, MS, the young husband is indexed as "J.G. Leaver", age 25, of Georgia. (But to my untrained eye, it could just as easily be construed as "G.S. Leaver" of South Carolina.) In 1850, Mr. Lever and Harriet were newly-married, as Harriet was only about 20, and they hadn't yet produced any children. They were living next door to an ADAMS boy, who I presume was Harriet's older brother.

By 1860, Harriet Adams Lever was widowed, and she had returned to Pickens County, AL, to live with her parents. She was the mother of three fatherless children -- James T. Lever (born in MS about 1851), Samuel Asa Lever (born in AL about 1853), and Mary Jane "Mollie" Lever (born in AL in 1855). I presume that Mr. Lever must have died sometime between 1855 and 1860, but I don't know where he was buried.

I know the rest of the history of Harriet Adams Lever and her three children, but I know nothing about the LEVER father.

Harriet Adams Lever died about 1909 and is buried in Noxubee County, MS. Her son, Samuel Asa Lever, lived in Noxubee County, MS, his entire adult life, married Jennie Linn Evans, and is buried in Noxubee County, MS. James T. Lever lived in Winston County, MS for several years, then ultimately moved to Delmar, AL, where he passed away about 1920. The daughter, Mollie Lever, married Tom K. Clearman, lived in Winston and Noxubee County, MS, and was the mother of several children (including a son named George Lever Clearman.)

Does anyone know who this LEVER boy might have been who married Harriet Adams -- whether he was from Georgia or from South Carolina, when he might have died, where he might be buried, and who his parents might have been.

I am very interested in this dude, as I believe my family intersects with his in several different areas.

Thank you.
