I am tracing my mothers family - Letts.
Rev. John Letts (d. 24 March 1857), - 13 children incl. Sydney Letts (m. Janet ?)- 5 children, incl. Edgerton Michael Letts (b. 25/8/1889)(my grandfather) - m. Gwendoline Collenette - twins, Day and Dawn. Day m. Kenneth Boothroyd with 5 children.
Any information greatly appreciated. I have some further dates and information incl. family bible.

I am just starting to try to trace my husbands family. His maternal grandfather William came to Australia in the 1920's and some of his relations went to Canada. I have no further information or names at present but may be able to find out more.

I have found an Ann Letts during my searching .. she married William Penfold on 3 Nov 1850 I believe at Walton on the Hill in Surrey Kate Burns

My maternal grandfather was Harold Letts, born
(I believe) in Middlesex, England (at least
that's where the family lived when my mother,
Dorothy Sybil, was born. Harold married
Doris Sybil Starkey. I believe he may have
had a sister named Amy.

I have marriage certificate of Fabian C. LETTS, b. 1895 London, child of Sydney & Janet WALES. I can send you a copy.
Was Fabian a brother of your grandfather?

I wonder are you still tracing your family as I noticed the date of 1999. Anyway my g g g grandfather was
the Rev John Letts. His daughter Elizabeth Amy (born1828,died 1849) married George Moultrie Salt 1848, their son Moultrie born 1849. Moultrie came to Australia pre 1890 married Louisa Josland 1890. Have lots of information from then on. Have some info on Rev John but would like more. Have visited St Olaves Interested in family bible etc. Many thanks Sandra
