I am a descendant of Green and Letitia (Gregory) McCafferty through their son Thomas Marion McCafferty, Daviess Co., Indiana line of McCafferty's. Donna Donnell has shared her transcription of dates from their Bible dated 1851 which, at that time, was in the possession of Dorothy Lett, daughter of Alvin Lett and Cora McCafferty Russell. (I also share a common ancestor with Dorothy Lett on the line of James I. Lett, through son Randal Lett.) Miss Lett passed some time ago and, although this source is frequently cited, I have not been able to find the current owner/location of the original? I am wondering if anyone on this list has any info?

It seems that Donna was copying back in the days when making a photocopy was not so easily done. Even if the original is not available, I am wondering if someone out there might have made a photocopy that they would be willing to share?
