I have a very complete Lesher/Lasher lineage from Henry Lesher,b 1711 in Schauffhausen, Switzerland. He m. Mary(Maria)in 1764/65. She was b.1715 in same place. Henry emigrated to US with many families from this town on the same boat named the JAMES GOODWIN. Henry was only 16 and so travelled under the guidance of a man named Hans Hege. Henry came with his two younger sisters- no parents. It can't be said that his future wife Mary was on this ship because I can't ID her maiden name. This ship came from Rotterdam and sailed to Philedelphia. Henry Mary had 8 children. They were ALL born in Lancaster County, Pa. Thier eldest son, Henry, b.8/8/1740 is often mentioned on this message board. This Henry m. Sophrenia Zette. They had 5 children, etc. etc. I have much info on this family.
