Dear Audrey, I've been working for a couple of months on the Lesher family that moved to Ohio, also descendants of Jacob and Catharina (Sheets). Everybody seems to come to a dead end on that line. I just found your post in the "Lesher Families of America" about where Jacob was born and when. I think I may be getting a few clues and have some theories about that, but was really interested that you had an 1898 family record about him. I'd love to know more about what it says.
