No I didn't know she was rumored to be Native American, although I have always heard we have Native American blood in our family. It is really hard to locate people from the Indian registries because you have to know their tribe and mother's name. I don't have any of that information. I do know there were a couple of Chippewa campsites in the area of Canada that Ceviere lived, but have not done any true research in that direction. Hopefully your uncle will have some additional information that will be helpful. I would love to find out what he has to say if you don't mind sharing.
