Ella Fehlhaber, 95, formerly of 1240 Merrill Ave., Wausau, died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
She was born March 25, 1903, in Wausau, daughter of the late William and Leona (Bauer) Luedtke. She married Arnold Fehlhaber in 1920. He preceded her in death in 1967.
Ella and her husband farmed in the town of Berlin and moved to Wausau in 1945.
Survivors include one son, Walter Fehlhaber, Milwaukee; 32 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Wilbert Dahlke, Wausau; and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Fehlhaber, Wausau. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mildred Dahlke, and Evelyn Wienke; three sons, Clarence, Lawrence and Raymond Fehlhaber; one grandson, Stanley Fehlhaber; four brothers, August, George, William, and Walter Luedtke; one half brother, Gust Krueger; and one half sister, Lena Lepak.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1998, at the First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial will be in the Friedenshain Cemetery, Town of Berlin Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
