Welsey Lemons is my great great grandfather, he was born sometime around 1857 in Tennessee. In 1880 he was living in Dewitt, Arkansas county, Arkansas and was listed as mulatto along with his kids (one child wasn't included whose name is malissa) and his wife Florence.

I cannot find any other records on him besides the 1880 census record and a marriage record between him and his wife Florence and I have searched extensively for a long time, I would love to know who his parents are. I also wonder if he or his wife Florence has any American Indian ancestry. Thank you for your time.
