I sent a reply to your post a few days ago but it doesn't seem to have made it to the forum, so here's a repeat of the earlier message.
Henry Lafever married Sarah "Sallie" Hammerly in 1846 in Loudoun County VA. Sarah was born 12 Feb 1827 and died 19 Jun 1899. Her burial was at Ashburn Presbyterian Church in Ashburn, Loudound County, VA. One of their daughters was Priscilla Anne Lefever, born 15 March 1847. Priscilla Anne married John Alexander Caylor circa 1870 and she died 3 July 1933 in Loudoun County VA. John Alexander is a twice-removed first cousin of mine.
Henry's father was William Lafever (note the variation in spelling - it appears in several forms in various documents), born 28 Jan 1777, died 8 Jan 1850 in Loudoun County. His mother was Mary Etcher, born 26 Jan 1788 and died 25 Jan 1832 in Loudoun County. She and William are buried at the Broad Run Cemetery in Loudoun. Mary Etcher's father (Peter Oatyar) is my 4th great grandfather. The Etchers (Oatyars), Caylors, Lefevers and others lived in the Broad Run area and were inter-related through a number of marriages during the 1800s.
