Please type the Surname "LEE" in all capital letters (all caps).

When posting a message to this forum, type Christian/Given/First names as lower case except for the first letter of the name.

Always use "caps" when typing Surnames on this forum.

Do NOT type your entire MESSAGE IN ALL capital letters.

When your entire message is typed with all capital letters, it looks as though you are

YELLING AT EVERYONE ON THE FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It makes it more difficult to FIND the Surname if every name is capitalized.

For instance:

JOHN JAMES THOMAS LEE

What is the Surname?

John James THOMAS son of Miss LEE?

James LEE son of J(ane) THOMAS & Thomas LEE?

OR, are there three brothers named,

John & James & Thomas who are the sons of Mr LEE?

Please do not post "generalized" titles with your messages.

Examples:

History of the LEE Family

Do you know John LEE?

I'm looking for Robert E LEE?

Does anyone have a missing LEE?

LEE Family !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!are you related to this mile long thread I am posting here with all the names attached to it that makes it so difficult to read????????????????????????

Subsequently, the above message will have replies that are tagged on, making the thread look even worse.

Make your Subject line as specific as possible.

"Thomas LEE b 1820 d 1890 married Sarah MNU"

MNU is an accepted abbreviation for:

Maiden Name Unknown.
